Hatada Osamu and his wife were killed with a carving knife. Stage actor Shibata Masaki confesses to be the murderer but is later proved to a victim of schizophrenia, hence bearing no responsibility for the crime. Psychiatrist Ogawa Kafka is suspicious of the medical report and determines to reveal the ultimate truth behind the crime… Keiho features Blue Ribbon Awards and the Japanese Academy Awards Best Actress Suzuki Kyoka as Kafka, and Tsutsumi Shinichi (of Unlucky Monkey and Postman Blues fame).
