Teddy, nicknamed "Heart-throb", had a thriving career during the golden age of Cantonese cinema. However, at the late 1970s, Teddy was broke, but he still had lots of affairs, totally ignoring Wendy, his female agent, who was secretly in love with him for years.
To earn a living, Wendy found five desperate single men who had never had a proper relationship with women. They each paid a handsome tuition fee to Teddy who would teach them how to pick up girls. They were allowed to go after any woman living in Teddy's house. The ploy worked nicely, until Teddy's daughter, Pearl's arrival.
Twenty-two years ago, when Teddy's girlfriend left him for Australia, she was already pregnant. Now Pearl had grown up into a sexy, beautiful woman, she returned to Hong Kong to look for her father. Teddy did eveything to stop the five desperate men from going after his beautiful daughter. However, Pearl discovered that they were actually very shy and socially inept, and helped them to get along well with women.
Teddy received an offer for a film role, but he had to work with his old rival, Rocky. When Rocky learned that his godmother had left him a handsome heritage, he immediately took avenge upon Teddy and rendered him jobless. Teddy now despondent, decided to take his own life, but was rescued by Wendy. Teddy finally realised that Wendy was the woman with whom he wanted to spend the rest of his life!
Meanwhile, Rocky found out that Pearl was Teddy's daughter, and concocted a cunning plan. He drugged Pearl in a party and carried her to his room where he intended to abuse her. Pearl was unconscious, and totally at the mercy of Rocky...
