Bobby Au-Yeung plays the role of Sung Chee to perfection, bringing to live a serious man who can be funny at times. His outstanding performance won him the Favorite Actor award of the year. Top actresses Jessica Hsuan and Marianne Chan also demonstrate superb acting skills without outshining each other. Frankie Lam takes up a villain role for the first time and he does a brilliant job.
Sung Chee (Bobby Au-yeung) and Tong See (Jessica Hsuan) get involved in a murder case together and both receive death sentence. Fortunately new official Sung Yik (Frankie Lam) saves their lives, and even hires Sung Chee as his assistant. Tong See has a crush on Sung Yik, who has already fallen in love with Lip Fung (Marianne Chan). Later Sung Chee discovers that the Sung Yik he has known for long is actually fake, and he even uncovers the real Sung Yik's dead body! Can Sung Chee finally arrest the fake Sung Yik?
